Ian Underwood

DJ Ianu (DJ/MC) has been a DJ for 4 years, making his beginnings in his dorm room at college practicing every day after class. He eventually started DJing parties at school which led to a residency at a local bar. Since then he has DJ’d several cruises, and opened for several artists including rapper Aminé. DJ Ianu describes his style as a perfect blend between new and old. He plays an assortment of modern dance music from artists like Kaytranada, but always makes room for some classics like Michael Jackson and Earth Wind and Fire. His personal motto is, “play the people what they didn’t know they wanted”, although above all else, he reads the crowd and plays whatever they vibe to. He is a vibrant, energetic DJ who is always dancing behind the booth, and never fails to get everyone on their feet.
